Book: The Legacy of Eladio Dieste

Walking Tours · Price on request · Confirmed when you book

Eladio Dieste, the engineer who made brick fly, left Salto an unusual concentration of his work: the old municipal bus terminal, the Agencia Central terminal, a service station, a club on the riverfront and, out by the lake, the Parador Ayuí. This guided walk takes you to his self-supporting brick vaults in the city and explains how a humble material became some of the most original architecture in Latin America.

Price on request — I quote the price for your group when I confirm. Start time and meeting point are arranged with you after booking; which works are included depends on the group. Circuits can be adapted to schools, architecture students, families and groups of friends.
