Ride out from Salto's north riverfront along the Uruguay River and into the open countryside with a local guide. Rides are booked by the hour, run all year round, and are a relaxed way to experience the region's rural charm. Children from 3 years old are welcome — there are horses suited to young riders — and riding lessons are available on request.
