Stories that were born beside the river. Salto exists because of the Uruguay River: the falls that stopped the boats made this the last port upstream, and the port, the cranes and the shipyards built the city's fortune. This guided walk follows the riverfront to the old port and the shipyard area and tells how the river made Salto.

Price on request — I quote the price for your group when I confirm. Start time and meeting point on the riverfront are arranged with you after booking. Circuits can be adapted to schools, families, institutions and groups of friends.

Nothing to pay up front. I'll confirm your booking by WhatsApp or email within 12 hours. To arrange it I pass your name, contact details and the details of your request to the operator, and nothing else; I do not use them for anything else. On the day itself you pay the operator directly, in Uruguayan pesos at the equivalent of the price shown in US dollars, either in cash or by bank transfer.
