Port & Shipyards Walk
Salto exists because of the Uruguay River: the falls that stopped the boats made this the last port upstream, and the port, the cranes and the shipyards built the city's fortune. This guided walk follows the riverfront to the old port and the shipyard area and tells how the river made Salto.
